St Hedwig Village is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the area’s most respected providers of retirement village and residential care accommodation and services.
As a Catholic organisation our mission is to dedicate ourselves to the needs of our residents, to provide a home-like environment in which the residents feel respected, safe and accepted for who they are, and to provide a quality of life and standard of care that is based on Christian ideals and values.
Surrounded by native bushland on three sides the facility is like a little oasis, hidden away, in the middle of Blacktown.
St Hedwig Village provides four levels of care
All located on the same site. It is like a ‘one-stop shop’.
Couples who may need to be separated because of different care needs have the benefit of being able to live on the same site and visit each other daily.
All our services employ well-trained, professionally qualified staff to look after your health and day-to-day care needs. Staff are provided with on-going training and information sessions to ensure that their skills and knowledge are maintained and always up to date.
Visits by doctors, physiotherapist, podiatrist, optometrist, dental, hairdresser, and other services can usually be arranged on site.
With the exception of self care, all our services and entry into residential care requires potential residents and clients to be assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team.
